Israel: A Stamp-Sized View Presented by Rabbi Deborah Bodin Cohen Since the founding of the State of Israel, the country has been very intentional in the postage stamps that it issues. Each stamp can be viewed as a small message of identity and image. We will take a chronological approach and talk about how the images have evolved over time. Numerous slides of stamps and their artwork will be shared and discussed. We will also see examples of stamps from the Palestinian Authority and British Mandate period.
